Sect. Arctophila (Griseb.) J. Holub. Stems simple or with a few long branches from the base. Flowers 4- to 5-merous, more or less numerous and crowded at the ends of the branches. Corolla cylindrical, not fringed in the throat or at the margins; lobes acuminate or mucronate. Style absent. Capsule sessile.
