Outer leaves 0-8-1-2 mm wide, the inner 0-2-0-4 mm wide. Sheath 8-12 mm. Involucral bracts acuminate-cuspidate, the outer equalling or longer than the inner, with wide scarious margins. Calyx 5(-7-5) mm; awns 1 -3-1-5 mm. Serra de Arga, Serra Amarela.
