Perennial herb, glandular-hairy at least in inflorescence and sometimes throughout. Stems up to 120 cm, erect, sparingly branched. Leaves 25-70 x 8-30 mm, lanceolate to ovate, acute or mucronate, glabrous or glandular-pubescent, opposite below, alternate above. Racemes 20-35 cm, with 3O-6O(-1OO) flowers. Bracts mostly 5-10 mm, linear-lanceolate, but the lowest transitional to foliage-leaves. Pedicels 1 -4 mm. Calyx-lobes 5-8 mm, ovate-lanceolate, acute. Corolla 18-25 mm, pale yellow. Capsule 7-10 mm, oblong, glandular-hairy. • C. & N.W. Spain, N. Portugal. Hs Lu.
