Annual, densely glandular-pubescent at least above; stems 15-80 cm, erect, usually simple, rather stout. Leaves 25-50 x 4-15 mm, oblong-lanceolate, acute to subobtuse, semiamplexicaul, mostly alternate, the lowest opposite. Racemes rather dense, elongating in fruit; flowers subsessile. Calyx 7-8 mm; lobes oblong-elliptical, obtuse, very unequal. Corolla 18-3O(-4O) mm, pale yellow; spur 10-16 mm. Capsule 5-6 mm. Seeds c. 1-2 mm, tetrahedral, strongly ruminate-alveolate, greyish-brown, with acute, slightly winged angles. Cultivated ground. • C., S.& E. Spain, Portugal. Hs Lu.
