Like 5 but usually more robust and often hairier; calyx 2-5~3-5(-4) mm, tubular, the teeth more or less triangular, acute. 2/7 = 42, 78, 84, 90, 96, 120, 132. Usually sterile; the occasional highly fertile plants are probably the result of back-crossing with the parents. Often confused with 5 or hairy variants of 7.
