Stems up to 100 cm, branched above, glandular-pubescent below, eglandularvillous above. Leaves simple, or lyrate with 1-2 pairs of small lateral segments, petiolate, ovate-triangular, glandular-viscid. Verticillasters with 6-12 flowers. Pedicels 3-5 mm. Calyx 6-8 mm, often violet, with eglandular hairs and sessile glands. Corolla 10-16 mm, violet-blue; tube exserted; upper lip not narrowed at base. Turkey-in-Europe (Istanbul region). Tu. (S. W. Asia.)
