Stems 20-50 cm, ascending or erect, simple or branched, deflexed-puberulent or pubescent. Leaves 10-20 x 3-15 mm, ovate, crenate-dentate, puberulent, densely punctate beneath. Verticillasters with (2-) 10-60 flowers, dense, shortly pedunculate, longer than the subtending leaves or the lowest shorter. Calyx 2-5-3 mm, puberulent, glabrous or minutely hairy in throat; teeth c. i as long as tube, triangular-acuminate to lanceolatesubulate, equal. Corolla 5-6 mm, whitish or pale lilac. Nutlets obtuse or acuminate. • Balkan peninsula, from C. Jugoslavia to N.E. Greece. Bu G r Ju.
