Like 21 but stems arcuate to erect, with somewhat longer and coarser indumentum; leaves (4-)5- 8(-10) x 0-5—1(—1-5) mm, linear-lanceolate, subobtuse, puberulent, cibate at base; bracts up to 3 mm wide; inflorescence usually many-flowered, capitubform, sometimes branched; calyx puberulent to hirsute, the bps about as long as tube; upper teeth up to 1mm, usually lanceolate; corolla up to 6 mm, distinctly longer than calyx, creamy white. 2« = 60. Mountains o f S. & S.E. Spain. Hs.

Variable in development of indumentum, and in shape of bracts and inflorescence.
