Calyx-segments 1- veined, filiform above. Corolla often inflected near base, more or less straight above, usually tinged with violet; upper lip deeply 2-lobed. Stigma purple or yellow. Usually on species of Eryn- gium , Daucus, Ballota and Compositae. Throughout the range of the species.
