( Alectorolophus mediterraneus Sterneck ).
Stem 5^40 cm, simple or branched, with black streaks, hairy on 2 opposite sides. Leaves ovate-oblong to oblong-lanceolate, with acute, patent teeth. Bracts exceeding calyx, triangular-ovate, puberulent; teeth aristate, gradually diminishing in length towards apex, the basal up to 8 mm. Calyx puberulent. Corolla c. 20 mm; tube somewhat curved. 2« = 22. • W. & C. Mediterranean region. Al Ga Hs It Ju?Rs (K).
The identity of the plants from Krym referred to this species is subject to some doubt.

Aestival: type of the species.
