Stem up to 70 cm, simple or branched, with black streaks, subglabrous or hairy on 2 opposite sides. Leaves narrowly lanceolate, acutely dentate, with patent, almost subulate teeth. Bracts much exceeding calyx, narrowly triangular, glabrous; teeth gradually diminishing in length towards apex, the basal very long andnarrow, long-aristate, the upper remote. Calyx glabrous. Corolla up to 20 mm; tube slightly curved. • 5. Alps; Albania. Al Ga It.
