Plant densely greyish-pubescent to -hirsute, glandular, aromatic. Flowering stems erect, from a procumbent, woody stock. Leaves up to 3 x 3 cm, reniform to orbicular-deltate, irregularly crenate-dentate. Spikes up to 18 cm, with very numerous flowers; bracts linear-oblong, shorter than flowers. Calyx 4-6 mm, divided almost to the base, with linear-lanceolate lobes. Corolla 7-8 mm, white, striped with purple. Capsule 5 mm, ellipsoid, pubescent above; style persistent, equalling capsule. Rock-crevices and under overhanging rocks. • Lowlands o f S. Spain, from Malaga to Orihuela . Hs.
