Like 34 but always glabrous; leaves 1—2(—5) mm wide; calyx-lobes linear-lanceolate, acuminate; corolla (13—)15—20 mm, pale yellow; spur (5—)7—10 mm, narrower than and at least as long as lower lip; capsule 4-6(-7-5) mm, ovoid. 5. & E.C. Europe, but absent from much o f the Mediterranean region. Al Au Bu Cz Ga?Gr He Hs Hu It Ju Rm?Rs (W). L. bessarabica Kotov , Ukr. Bot. Zur. 11(4): 67 (1954), from S. Ukraine, has been equated with 35 by some Russian authors, but it has linear-oblong, very obtuse calyx-lobes and corolla up to 23 mm; it has been seldom collected and is perhaps of hybrid origin.
