Indian records. Tamil Nadu — Manikannan et al. (2011) (as Evadena normani); West Bengal — Ganga river — Bilgrami (1991a) .
Remarks. E. nordmanni was described from Europe. It is present in “open seas of the Arctic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, and the Atlantic Ocean, except tropical areas” ( Rivier 1998). Most probably, the aforementioned authors misidentified some other species of the Onychopoda as E. nordmanni .
