Diagnosis. The males of T. scoparia ( Fig. 143) resemble those of T. velox ( Fig. 57) in the short median apophysis, but can be distinguished by the distally acute median apophysis ( Fig. 145) and by the curved distal half of the ental branch of RTA ( Fig. 147).
Description. Male (Holotype, Orinoco, Venezuela, MNHN). Total length 10.64. Carapace 6.65 long, 6.38 wide, yellow. Clypeus yellow, 0.72 high. Anterior eye row slightly procurved, 1.02 wide ( Fig. 16); posterior recurved, 1.70 wide. Eye diameters, interdistances, and median ocular quadrangle: AME 0.22, ALE 0.12, PME 0.30, PLE 0.28; AME-AME 0.18, AME-ALE 0.14, PME-PME 0.30, PME-PLE 0.34, OQA 0.58, OQP 0.82, OQH 0.54. Chelicerae yellow to light brown, scattered bristles, lateral depressed, without lateral tufts of white bristles ( Fig. 16). Sternum yellow; 2.66 long, 2.79 wide. Labium yellow, light brown laterally, 0.93 long, 0.79 wide. Legs yellow, unmarked; relative length: IV-II-I-III, I—femur 5.97/ patella-tibia 7.58/ metatarsus 4.66/ tarsus 2.66/ total 20.87; II—5.81/ 7.71/ 4.92/ 2.52/ 20.96; III—4.56/ 6.65/ 4.65/ 2.39/ 18.25; IV—6.05/ 8.64/ 5.98/ 3.45/ 24.12. Ventral pairs of macrosetae on tibiae: I-4; II-4; III-3; IV-3. Abdomen 5.32 long, yellow. Venter whitish, with scattered bristles. Palpus with a small and distally acute median apophysis ( Figs 144, 145) and a curved distal haft of the ental branch of RTA ( Figs 146, 147).
Female. Unknown.
Distribution. Known only from the type locality ( Fig. 4).
