Diagnosis
Body with slender aspect due to the elongated mesosoma and metasomal petiole; free margin of clypeus produced medially; mandible thin, densely pubescent, more or less rounded, with small notch; gaster distinctly clavate, narrow basally; GT4 of female turned backwardly, peculiarly angulate; GT6 fused with syntergum; GT2 of male subquadrate to distinctly elongate. Species of this genus are mainly Afrotropical in distribution (Bou Č ek 1974a).
