Description. Rings of setae around the posterior or anal region of the trunk lacking. Proboscis long and truncate. Post-pharyngeal diaphragm absent.
Genus Anelassorhynchus Annandale, 1922
Description. Posterior setae absent. Longitudinal and inner oblique layers of muscle not grouped into bands or fascicles. Gonostomal lips elongate and spirally coiled.
