Type species: Mercuriana stackelbergi Lehr, 1988 — Lehr (1988: 195).
Facial gibbosity small, with distinct outline. The genus is closely allied to Machimus and the one South Korean species shares the slightly excised and thickened male sternite 8. The gonostylus is distinctly slender ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 13 – 25 ), and the aedeagus truncated ( Figs. 38, 39 View FIGURES 26 – 48 ). Ovipositor similar to Machimus , but the cercus is elongated, almost as long as tergite 9 ( Fig. 64 View FIGURES 58 – 66 ).
