Homotypic synonyms:— Ctenitis mariformis (Rosenst.) Ching (1938: 286) , Dryopsis mariformis (Rosenst.) Holttum & Edwards (1986: 188) .
Note: — The original material of E. Rosenstock can not be found in B or M where his types are supposed to be deposited ( Stafleu & Cowan 1983) .
Heterotypic synonyms: — Ctenitis jiulungshanensis P.C.Chiu & G.H.Yao in Ching (1982: 66). Type: CHINA. Zhejiang: Shui-chang Xian, Jiulong-shan, 1500 m, P. C. Chiu et al. 5851 ( holotype PE, isotype HSNU). — Ctenitis truncata Ching & Kung (1981: 123) . Dryopsis truncata (Ching & H.S.Kung) Holttum & Edwards (1986: 188) .Type: CHINA. Sichuan: Daxiangling (Ta-Shiang-Ling), 2350 m, H. S. Kung (Xian-Xu Kong) 3787 ( holotype PE, isotype SCFI).
This species is endemic to China ( Fujian, Guangdong, Guizhou, Hunan, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan, Zhejiang) .
