Vermiculated Croaker or Wormlined Croaker. To at least 35 cm (13.8 in) TL ( Robertson and Allen 2002). Bahía Magdalena ( Robertson and Allen 2015) to Punta Marquez (listed as Punta Marquis; 23°57’N, 110°51’W), southern Baja California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California) and Mazatlan, Mexico (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California) to Tumbes, Peru ( Chirichigno and Veléz 1998) .
