3.2.23 Deplorothrips acutus Okajima View in CoL ( Fig. 15 View Figs 13–16 )
Deplorothrips acutus Okajima, 1989 b: 243 View in CoL .
Specimens examined. Taiwan (Taipei, Tatung Mountain ), paratypes 1 female and 1 male from dead branches, 4 April 1984, S. Okajima ( TUA) .
Distribution. China (Taiwan).
Remarks. The species is described from Taiwan, China based on apterous forms of two females and one male by Okajima (1989 b). It was shown in antennal segments III–IV having three and four sensoria respectively. Two paratypes (1 female and 1 male) were checked in this paper. They all have two sensoria on antennal segments III–IV. Unfortunately, the holotype was not examined, so the number of sensoria on these segments need to be examined in future work.
