DISTRIBUTION: S.W. South Africa; S. Namibia.
COMMENT: Ellerman et al., 1953, included janetta as a subspecies of suillus , but de Graaff, 1975, Part 6.9:2-3, regarded janetta and suillus as monotypic species.
