Global distribution: NT.
Argentinian distribution: Buenos Aires, Corrientes, Río Negro.
Ecology: This species has been recorded in temporary wetlands. These environments presented temperature values around 20 °C, with neutral waters (mean values: 7.5) and the electrical conductivity value average was 3240 μS/cm.
