Diagnosis. Carapace smooth, slightly grooved, lateral regions granulated, anterolateral margin well developed, serrated with equal teeth, postorbital margins and postfrontal lobes fused to sharp margin, which leads nearly to lateral edge, chelipeds unequal, ngers of both chelae slightly gaping, palms rugose, walking legs distinctly elongated; pleon stoutly triangular, terminal joint of rst gonopod long, slender cylindrical, slightly curved outwards, overlapping zone reaching only ventral part, in middle with a small mesial bulging at overlapping margin.

Type locality. Ile Poulo-Condore (5 Con Son), Vietnam.

Distribution. Presently known only from the type locality.

Remarks. This species is the type of Dromotelphusa Nayianetr, 1992. The second gonopod morphology of D. longipes is unique and it is another exclusive character for this genus.
