Type locality and habitat: Italy, Portici, Naples, on Messor barbarus capitatus var. minor [Animalia: Hymenoptera : Formicidae ].
Diagnosis
The concept of Myrmozercon used here is based on that of Shaw and Seeman (2009) with modifications of Joharchi and Moradi (2013), and Kontschán and Seeman (2015).
