HASSLER (1915: 165) publica válidamente Crumenaria polygaloides subsp. paraguariensis sin dar indicaciones del tipo. El material típico de los nombres incluidos por Hassler bajo esta subsp. son los síntipos deeste taxon. Escogemos el tipo que permite una clara aplicaciÓn del presente nombre siguiendo la concepciÓn de HASSLER (1915: 165-166).
