Host plants. Sagittaria lancifolia L. ( Alismataceae ) ( O’Brien, 1981; Maes and O’Brien, 1990).
Distribution. Widespread Neotropical ( Dominican Republic, Mexico, Nicaragua, and West Indies) and southeastern USA ( O’Brien, 1981; Anderson, 1992).
