Etant donné ses dessins alaires caractéristiques, il n’a pas été nécessaire de disséquer le premier spécimen récolté à Genève pour le déterminer à l’aide de Sattler (2002).
J’ai capturé ce spécimen à Avusy ( derrière Forestal , 15.6.2011, MVL, leg. Landry, Pastore & Baumgart). L’espèce a déjà été répertoriée sur le Plateau, en Valais et dans le sud du pays (SwissLepTeam 2010) .
