Adetogramma chrysolepis (Hook.) T.E.Almeida, PhytoKeys View in CoL 78: 118. 2017 View Cited Treatment .
= Polypodium chrysolepis Hook. Hook., Icon. Pl. 8, t. 72., 1845.
= Polypodium bangii Baker, Bull. Misc. Inform. Kew 1901: 145 View in CoL . 1901.
= Microgramma chrysolepis (Hook.) Crabbe, Brit. Fern Gaz. View in CoL 9: 316. 1967.
Range: —Patchily from Ecuador to Bolivia (CO, LP, SC, TA) and northwestern Argentina.
Ecology: —Locally common; epiphytic, sometimes on mossy rocks, in semihumid forests; 2200–4000 m.
Notes: —Most easily confused with some species of Microgramma , but species in that genus have areolate venation with included veinlets and usually more pronounced sterile-fertile leaf dimorphism ( Almeida et al. 2017). When sterile, A. chrysolepis may be also mistaken for Elaphoglossum lloense (Hook.) T.Moore or E. squamipes (Hook.) T.Moore , but these have glabrous adaxial blade surfaces.
