Holotype (6462): 1 ♀, Brazil, São Paulo, São José do Rio Preto, UNESP Campus, 20º47’03”S 49º21’36”W, from Tabebuia alba (Cham.) Sandwith. (Bignoniaceae) , 24. III.2000, coll. M.R. Bellini.
Paratypes (6464–6468): same data as holotype with exceptions, 3 ♀, 1 ♂, 27. III.2001; 1 ♂, 28.XI.2000; 1 ♂, 29.I.2001; 1 ♀, Brazil, São Paulo, Pindorama, 21º13’43”S 48º54’54”, from Chamaesyce hirta (L.) Millsp. ( Euphorbiaceae ), 14.IV.2000, coll. M.A. Nunes.
Note) The species was described as T. moraesi Lofego & Feres , but due a homonymy with T. moraesi Kreiter & Ueckermann , the species was renamed as T. demoraesi .
