Discussion: This name was introduced by Thor (1923) for a deutonymph he knew from a figure only, published by Halbert (1911) under the name Atractides anomalus . Defining species at the deutonymphal stage is generally impossible. With high probability, the specimen in question belongs to one of the species known in the early 20th century. As proposed by K.O.Viets (1978), T. halberti must be considered a species incerta .
