Palaetyra luzonica Simon, 1898 HNA: 211, no figure, ♂, Philippines, Luzon, Antipolo.

Old material studied. — Holotype ♂, Antipolo ( MNHNP, 13697 ).

Diagnosis. — Total length 3 mm. Predominantly orange spider, the carapace is flat and wide, darkened towards the margin, the legs are faintly annulated, the abdomen has a large scutum, near the posterior margin is a white spot. The anterior eyes are of approximately equal size, PER strongly recurved, PME much smaller than PLE, widely separated, almost juxtaposed to PLE ( fig. 649 View Figs 642 - 648 ). Clypeus 2 diameter of AME. Femur I with 1-1-1 prolateral spines, tibia I with 6-7 ventral pairs, tibia II with 6, metatarsi I and II with 4 pairs.
