TL: Sikkim, India. Holotype (♂).
TD: BMNH.
Distribution in India: Sikkim, Manipur, Nagaland (Naga Hills) ( Hampson 1894, 1900). Elsewhere: So far it has only been recorded from North East India.
Remarks: Hampson (1894) stated that the type is from the Elwes collection referring to the specimen collected in Sikkim. The Manipur and Naga hills specimens belong to the Doherty collection, therefore are not types.
