Western Palaearctic, known from Western Europe, North-Mediterranean and Maghrebian regions
Notes. Subías (2022) recognized A. tzanoudakisi as congeneric with P. bryobius Jacot, 1930 . However, this species has evidently shorter notogastral setae and adanal setae shorter than anal setae (versus adanal longer than anal setae in P. bryobius ).
Subías (2022) considered this species as congeneric with P. assimilis Niedbała, 1983 . See note of P. assimilis .
