P. longinervis Freeman 1951: 93 , figs. 179 (♂ terminalia), 296 (wing). Type-locality: Argentina, Rio Negro, Lago Correntoso. Holotype ♂, NHM.

Notes. The type series included the male holotype, four male and nine female paratypes, of which three male and seven female paratypes, and one paratype with abdomen missing are at the NHM . The labels with the holotype are: “ Phronia / longinervis [hw] / Freeman. / HOLOTYPE ” [printed on red label]” // [male terminalia on a microslide attached to an acetate sheet] // “HOLO- / TYPE” [printed in black on a rounded label with red border]” // “Lago Correntoso. / 18–25.xi.1926.” // “ Argentina: / Terr.
