Gender. Neuter.

Type species. Agama kokpetica Radoszkowski, 1885 (male), by original designation (misspelled as kotepetica).

Taxonomic history. Junior subjective synonym of Pseudophotopsis André, 1896 according to André, 1902c: 21. Resurrected to generic status by Ashmead, 1903: 305. Junior subjective synonym of Pseudophotopsis André, 1896 according to André, 1904a: 31. Subjectively invalid name.

Sex association. The female of the type species was associated and described by Lelej, 1980: 637.

Distribution. Palaearctic.
