Type species. Corytilla pallidipes Arnold, 1956 (male), by original designation.

Taxonomic history. Valid generic name.

Sex association. The female of the type species has not been recognized; the female of another species was associated and described by Arnold, 1962: 846.

Distribution. Afrotropical.
