Gender. Feminine.
Type species. Smicromyrme tekensis Skorikov, 1935 (female), by original designation.
Taxonomic history. Valid subgeneric name.
Sex association. The male of the type species was associated (although misidentified) by Lelej, 1977a: 531 and described by Lelej, 1985b: 224.
Distribution. Palaearctic, Oriental.
