Taxonomic history. Senior subjective synonym of Caenotilla Pitts & Manley in Manley & Pitts, 2002 (female). Valid generic name.
Sex association. The female of the type species was associated by Brothers, 1975: 591 and described by Quintero & Cambra, 2001a: 452.
Distribution. Nearctic.
