Treatment

Nemka Lelej, 1985b (as subgenus of Smicromyrme Thomson, 1870 ). Osy-nemki Fauny SSSR: 240. Male, female.

Gender. Feminine.

Type species. Mutilla viduata Pallas, 1773 (male), by original designation.

Taxonomic history. Raised to generic status by Lelej, 1995a: 2. Senior subjective synonym of Horaia Tsuneki, 1993 not Tonnoir, 1930. Valid generic name.

Sex association. The female of the type species was associated and identified (as Mutilla coronata Fabricius, 1793: 369 ) by Morawitz, 1865: 133.

Distribution. Oriental, Palaearctic.
