Chorotype. Centroasiatic-Europeo-Mediterranean.
Distribution in North Africa. Egypt ( Salah et al. 2014; Jäch & Skale 2015), Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia ( Jäch & Skale 2015).
Moroccan distribution. Rif and Pré-Rif: Chefchaouen ( Kocher 1958), Tanger ( Jäch 1992c) and Nador ( Bennas et al. 2001; Chavanon et al. 2004). Central Plateau: Kénitra (Orchymont 1935) and Casablanca ( Jäch 1992c). Middle Atlas: Fès ( Kocher 1958; Jäch 1992c). High Atlas : Essaouira (Orchymont 1935; Kocher 1958; Jäch 1992c).
