Chorotype. Mediterranean.
Distribution in North Africa. Egypt ( Salah et al. 2014; Jäch & Skale 2015), Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia ( Jäch & Skale 2015).
Moroccan distribution. Rif and Pré-Rif: Tanger ( Jäch & Delgado 2008). Central Plateau: Rabat ( Kocher 1958; Jäch & Delgado 2008).
Remark. Previously recorded as O. viridis sp. 2 by Jäch (1992).
