Material examined. Tasmania: 2/0/0, Pool near crossing of roads A5 and B51, 42° 0 1.209 S 146° 49.533 E, 28 March 2008. New South Wales. 0/1/0, Small lake Diggers Creek, Mt Kosciuszko NP, 36° 21.589 S 148° 29.248 E, 5 December 2003.
Remarks. The specimen from New South Wales has a length/width ratio of the dorsal shield of 1,71, which is intermediate between A. acutipetiolatus and A. fissipetiolatus ( Smit 1999) . As L4 are not on humps and the idiosoma is only slightly truncated posteriorly, is it assigned to A. fissipetiolatus .
Distribution. Victoria, Tasmania. Here reported for the first time from New South Wales.
