Types. Ammophila separanda F. Morawitz, 1891: 204 , ♀, Ƌ. Lectotype, designated by Danilov (2015), ♀ "Ryn- Pesski // к. Ф Моравица [cyrillic] // Ammophila separanda ♀ F. Morawitz // LECTOTYPE ♀ Ammophila separanda F. Morawitz, 1891 design. Yu. Danilov, 2015 [red label]". Paralectotypes (2 specimens), Ƌ "Ryn-Peski / / к. Ф Моравица [cyrillic] // separanda Ƌ F. Morawitz // PARALECTOTYPE Ƌ Ammophila separanda F. Morawitz, 1891 design. Yu. Danilov, 2015 [red label]".

Type locality. "Ryn-Pesski" and "Ryn-Peski" [= Ryn Desert, West Kazakhstan region, Kazakhstan, 47°19'N 48°49'E].

Discussion. I previously (Danilov 2015) indicated that one of the paralectotypes is a female, but this was an error: only male paralectotypes are found in ZISP.
