Remarks. An image of the holotype (NHMW) was examined. The species is transferred to Leptoxyleborus Wood, 1980 because of the following characteristics: the elytral declivity flat and broad, especially laterally; posterolateral declivital costa elevated, carinate, ending at interstriae 7; surface covered with scales; pronotum elongate, appearing conical from dorsal aspect; scutellum flat, flush with elytra; mycangial tufts absent; and elytra unarmed.
