Remarks. The holotype (NHMUK) was examined. The species is transferred to Debus Hulcr & Cognato, 2009 because of the following characteristics: elytral apex emarginate; elytra typically strongly excavated and explanate; first declivital interstriae broadened, laterally displacing strial punctures; pronotal disc elongate and flat, pronotum from dorsal view long, rounded frontally (type 9); scutellum flat, flush with elytra; mycangial tufts absent.
Distribution. East Malaysia, Indonesia (Sumatra), Philippines.
