* Somoplatus ivoirensis Schüle, 2009 View in CoL
Distribution: GBI, RCI.
Distribution in Guinea-Bissau (Administrative Regions): 2) TOB.
Historic records: none.
Material examined: Coli (Quebo) (11º 37´01.53´´ N, 14º 46´12.23´´ W, 45 m alt.) ( TOB), 17.VII.2006, 1 male, LT, A. Serrano leg., ASC.
Remarks. The species was only known from Ivory Coast ( Schüle 2009; Lorenz 2021). The adult male specimen fits the description of this species, including the aedeagus. It was captured by LT within open secondary forest in the beginning of the rainy season during the 2006 entomological mission to Guinea-Bissau. Formerly unidentified but now, it is a new genus/species record for Guinea-Bissau.
