Stems 25-80cm, erect; branches strict. Leaves 5-7 cm; leaflets 6-11 pairs, 10-30 x 0-5-1 mm, linear to linear-oblong, sparsely hairy beneath; stipules not connate. Peduncles 1 -1 | timçs as long as leaves; racemes long, lax, with 5-20 flowers; bracts 1-2-5 mm, triangular-lanceolate. Calyx 2-5-4 mm, the teeth as long as tube, linear-lanceolate. Corolla pale lilac; standard 7-8 mm. Legume 8 -1 2x 2 mm, narrowly oblong and acute, straight, sparsely appressed-hairy, unilocular, rarely semi-bilocular. From E. Austria eastwards to S. Ural and W. Kazakhstan. Au Cz Hu Rm Rs (C, W, E).
