Charadrius falklandicus (MPR) View in CoL : migrates after breeding from Patagonia to Uruguay, RS and the Southeast region of Brazil ( Wiersma, 1996). It has a resident population in RS, where breeding has also been recorded ( Belton, 1984; Sick, 1997; Maurício et al., 2013). For SP, there are records in May to August ( Barbieri et al., 2013; WikiAves, 2016). There are also records for SC between May and July (WikiAves, 2016).
