Etymology. This epithet derives from the Latin adjective “ lingulatis ”, meaning “tongue-shaped”,referring to the tongue-shaped stretcher (St) in epigyne.
Diagnosis. The new species resembles Tchatkalophantes tarabaevi Tanasevitch, 2001 in having the distal part of the “pseudoscape” emargination being flanked by two small knobs ( Fig. 308A–D View FIGURE 308 ; Tanasevitch, 2001, fig. 39), but can be distinguished by the posterior margin of pseudoscape narrow in ventral view in T. lingulatis sp. nov. ( Fig. 308A View FIGURE 308 ), whereas posterior margin broad in T. tarabaevi ( Tanasevitch, 2001, fig. 37). Spermathecae C-shaped in T. lingulatis sp. nov. ( Fig. 308B View FIGURE 308 ), whereas kidney-shaped in T. tarabaevi ( Tanasevitch, 2001 fig. 37).
Description. Female (holotype, Fig. 309A, B View FIGURE 309 ): Total length: 2.71. Carapace 1.04 long, 0.81 wide; cephalic region slightly elevated, brown; fovea, cervical and radial grooves distinct; Clypeus 0.18 high. Sternum wider than long, dark gray, sparsely covered with microsetae. Labium wider than long. Maxillae long, distal end broader provided with scopulae. Chelicerae with four promarginal and three retromarginal teeth. Eye region narrow, AER recurved, PER straight and slightly wider than AER. Eye sizes and interdistances:AME 0.07, ALE 0.09, PME 0.08, PLE 0.07, AME–AME 0.01, PME–PME 0.06, AME– ALE, 0.05, PME–PLE 0.05, AME–PME 0.06, ALE–ALE 0.36, PLE–PLE 0.38 ALE–PLE contiguous. Length of legs: I 4.56 (1.21, 1.53, 1.08, 0.74), II 3.96 (1.07, 1.27, 0.97, 0.65), III 3.17 (0.89, 1.01, 0.76, 0.51), IV 4.34 (1.22, 1.41, 1.06, 0.65). Leg formula I-IV-II-III. Tm I 0.53 and Tm IV 0.46. Tibial spine formula: 2-2-2-2. Abdomen 1.67 long, 1.18 wide, oval, dorsally provided with distinct transverse grayish patches extending from the anterior margin of abdomen to the base of spinnerets; ventral side green.
Epigyne ( Fig. 308A–D View FIGURE 308 ): The distal part of the “pseudoscape” emargination being flanked by two small knobs, longer than wide, narrow posteriorly with well developed stretcher; stretcher tongue-shaped; entrance groove inside lateral pockets; posterior median plate slightly covering the stretcher; spermathecae C-shaped.
Male. Unknown.
